We offer a full range of orthopedic and soft-tissue procedures for dogs and cats. Our team focuses on the diagnosis and surgical treatment of conditions affecting the bones, joints, ligaments, and tendons.
Dr. Cavanagh has extensive training and experience in orthopedic surgeries to help restore mobility, relive pain, and improve an animal’s quality of life after injury or due to congenital conditions. Using specialized tools and imaging, Dr. Cavanagh tackles many challenging orthopedic and soft-tissue surgeries.
Some of the orthopedic procedures we perform include:
- Tibial plateau leveling osteotomy (TPLO)
- Patellar luxation re pair
- hip reduction (open/closed)
- Arthrotomy for OCD/FCP
- Limb amputation
- Extra capsular ACL repair
- Fracture repair (plate or IM pin)
- Femoral hip head and neck excision
- Bone biopsy
Surgery to correct orthopedic problems is a natural extension of the comprehensive care we provide. We feel that the best results are obtained when the pet owner and pet receive the continuity of one-stop total care. Dr. Cavanagh has a special interest and experience in veterinary orthopedics.
